About

Marie Miller lives in Seattle, and although she grew up in the middle of the country, she never really belonged until she moved to the West Coast.  She and her husband have their own interior design firm, and Marie teaches full time at an area university.  She’s a good designer, but her interests are varied.  She’s fascinated by sculpture, architecture, installation art, print-making, book-making, environmental care, diversity, drawing, writing poetry, kind people, animals, and God.  She spent the first half of her life fairly voiceless, being an overly obedient child in an unintentionally oppressive environment, and she’s decided she’s done with that.  Inside, she’s blue-violet, and she’s figuring out what to do with all of that paint.
